Seeing Cobb writing about his family reminded me about what I left behind...I tell people I didn’t know why dad started drinking, but I knew why, after all, he told me himself that night.. -------------------------------------------------------- For starters, everything was ok, just your average family. Audio diary - Bad Memory.. I still remember when i first began working for Fontaine. We were all sick of just working in a freezer storage unit all day, so he offered those of us that were interested a more lucrative job. Smuggling. Recently, the dreams have started gettin' darker. That same scene, waking up just in time to save my ass from a stabbing, keeps replayin' in my mind. In a single second i had to choose, either I died, or HE did. Thats what it USED ta be, just that one scene, now its different, the rooms full of flames, and the knife is red-hot from the flames, and theres always the same question; Not just from him, but from all of them; "Why'd ya let us all die? Im sick to death of this ole dump. Things used to be so good, if ya can beleive it of this place. Then i joined fontaines smuggling gang, big mistake THAT was. Once you join you cant get out, some guys tried, but they just ended up dead. So i wound up taking charge of what crew remained. But they were going nuts, always tryin' to take each other out, or, on occasion, me.
